Description Senokot is a laxative used for the short-term relief of occasional constipation. It contains natural senna, a plant extract, which works by stimulating the muscles in the bowel. This medicine is clinically proven for short-term, occasional constipation and can work whilst you sleep to help get your body back in balance. Use for predictable overnight relief that works in 8-12 hours. How to use: For oral use only. Adults (including the elderly and children aged 12 years and over): The recommended dose is to swallow 2-4 tablets at night. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Normally it is sufficient to take this medicine product up to two to three times a week. Use for more than 1 week requires medical supervision. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SENOKOT TABLETS For oral use only. Always swallow Senokot tablets with water. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
