First, candy-shaped shells are formed in starch, then they are filled with a smooth filling of milk pomade and cream. As it sets, all this is topped with a layer of fragrant milky liqueur. The pre-shaped filling in a fragile shell is carefully covered with starch and left to ‘rest’ until the next day, when it will be covered with thick, mouth-watering chocolate and wrapped in a paper that preserves all the flavours of the sweet.
